The lower eyelid area is a difficult area to treat due to its delicate thin skin and intricate structure. In the process of preparing PRP, blood is drawn and then undergoes centrifugation until it divides into three distinct layers: red blood cells , buffy coat, and platelet rich plasma. PRP can then be extracted from the other components for application.

Three treatments are typically recommended with one month intervals in between. Results can last up to 6-12 months.
